I enjoyed your article. Thanks for the information. After many years of working with people who stutter (PWS) I find it exciting that research and technology are helping to develop prosthetic devices that can assist PWS. I question why some people in the field of speech pathology would be opposed to these devices. The devices may not be a cure but for some people neither are the many types of therapy that we currently use to work with stuttering. It would be my hope that these devices would become easily available to people who stutter and have not had long term success with speech therapy.
