Hi Stefan, Thank you for your kind comments. I had a specific message to relate and so I encaptured it in verse. Once I had started, it just all seemed to fall in to place. Many people (including those totally unrelated to the ISAD Conference) have suggested that I should consider publishing my poems. I shall certainly give the matter some thought. There are several other topics I would also like to cover. Chris's drawings certainly provide an additional dimension, enabling both adults and children to gain a better understanding of the implications of word substitution. I'd love to read your poem about 'ums' 'ers' etc in due course. Incidentally, I have written many hundreds of limericks over the years. At one time, I produced a book of humorous limericks in conjunction with BBC Radio Wales. The proceeds were intended for a charity fund in aid of one of my colleagues who was blinded in a shooting accident. Thank you, so much, for your valued contribution. Kindest regards Alan PS I know several Stefans within the stuttering community. Which one are you? ;-)
