Alan and Christine, Sensational effort! In my view word substitution and avoidance are too often overlooked when discussing stuttering. As you know it is defined from the point of view of the listener in regards to repititions, prolongations and blocks. The poem addresses covert stuttering and gives a positive strategy for dealing with it. This of course is also the intention of the ISA's CD Rom. The CD would benefit enormously from the inclusion of your poem. Please let me know (anytime) whether you would give permission for this. To use your poetic lead "Your words are important, your pictures add too. Let's work together, to get the message through." Best wishes, Mark
