I read the messages of the children and to me they seem rather aggressive rather than assertive. Perhaps, in reading words and not expression of the words I am totally wrong! I saw a child last week who began to cry...then said.."I hate myself; I want to kill myself". I'd only seen him once before and this scared the **** out of me! He was not about to be aggressive..that was over...my job is far harder than pictures and statements with this child. With him, I'd sure love some guidance! He's too precious a person to loose due to stuttering!
