Hi Retz! Great to hear from you! YOU, not talking much??? Come on! I find that nearly impossible to believe! Ha, ha, ha! Nevertheless, I DO believe it. Trying NOT to stutter really affects our lives, doesn't it? Man...! Yeah, I can relate to the other aspects of your life being far more remembered than your stuttering - or your silence. Basketball, your buddies and the friendships back then, your old girlfriend... Those are the things that are important. NOT our stuttering. (You gotta tell me the story of the Ripple Wine some time! Ha, ha, ha!) It's truly amazing what a good SLP - WHO KNOWS WHAT HE OR SHE IS DOING - can do, isn't it? I'm dedicating more and more of my life to working with student SLPs and "raising them right!" That's probably one of the most important things that we will ever do. We need them - and they certainly need us! See ya in Chicago next summer, Retz! Looking forward to it! Russ
