Hi Mr. Hicks, my name is Amanda Martin. I am a graduate student in speech pathology and am currently taking a course on fluency disorders. I was hoping that you could provide me with some personal insite on your experience. I was just wondering to what degree did your stuttering affected you socially in high school did it prevent you from doing alot of things at that time, and how do you now feel knowing how little your classmates tought about your speech problem? I was also wondering that after you have gone through this experience, has it changed the way that you view yourself in terms of your stuttering?
