Yes. Frequently negative thoughts strive to interrupt the positive flow. It then becomes a matter of mind control to force the negative out and replace it with a positive. If no positive immediately comes to mind, I force myself to think of other things: Does the car need its oil changed? Did I remember to turn off the stove? Do I need to transfer money between bank accounts? Where does my lap go when I stand up? -- anything to force the negative from my mind. Amazingly, it works!
