Anticipation can not bring about the start of stuttering. You have to experience stuttering before you can start to anticipate the difficulty of speaking. Everyone around you seems to have no difficulty speaking, so you've got many postive examples of speaking. Yes, "something" causes stuttering to begin, and repetition causes it to be reinforced. But, as of right now, no one knows what causes or cures stuttering. Wasting your life waiting for a cure of searching for a magic potion is an exercise in futility. The stutterer must learn to accept his stuttering, learn to lessen its impact on his life, and get on with living.
