I loved the songs presented in the article, especially Jason Gay's "Sweet Relief" because it is applicable to many of the struggles in life and not only stuttering. I find the scatman to be especially amazing in his ability to be able to speak faster and more intelligibly in his song than most non-stuttering people could!I'm curious to know if, for the musicians who stutter but are able to sing so beautifully and clearly, the break from the stuttering while singing makes facing this disorder easier or harder? I would imagine that it would be nice to have a way to speak without struggle as well as express feelings through music, but when the song is over does it make it even more frustrating to go back to the difficulties of normal speech?
