Dear Carla, Thanks for the information you provided, and I will try to contact IFA later. China has been long seperated from the world's development in stuttering treatment and research, however, thanks to the recent economic development, the social awareness of stuttering is raising, and some young and well educated people would like to devote into this field. I have been encruited as a doctoral student in East Carolina University to further study stuttering, and will leave for ECU at the end of this year, if the applicaiton for Visa is accepted. Also, there are othe people in China that want to learn from Western countries. I really hope no more trageties like that I cited at the beginning of my paper occer in my country, and in other areas throught the world. To reach this end we need to cooperate naitonally and worldwildly.
