Thanks for your post, Alan! You have been an inspiration to many – as an example of someone who didn’t let his speech get in the way of his career goals – despite setbacks; of someone who goes far beyond his comfort zones (I don’t think you have any discomfort zones any more, do you?); and of someone who has taken what he’s learned and shared it with much of the world! A big part of figuring out what you want to do for a career is figuring out which limitations are self-imposed, and which ones are real. The only real limitations I’ve found are a strong aversion to math and science, and a lack of the pipes to be a decent opera singer!
