I think the blog was a wonderful idea! It not only illiminates some feelings of isolation, but provides a way for children to freely express themselves. I found it interesting that many of the replies stated that they only liked the SLP talking to them about stuttering. It is a reminder to those of us in the field to work on the affective and cognitive aspects of stuttering, not just the behavioral components. Many other people in the child's environment are unable to address those issues.
