I found this activity a great way to increase a family's awareness of interruptions in a fun and playful way. I've been reading alot about things families can do to help the borderline stutterer. Reducing interruptions,as well as asking fewer questions, making more positive comments and spending more time doing one-on-one listening can sometimes really make all the difference in helping a child with borderline stuttering symptoms achieve spontaneous fluency (Guitar). I love the way you've incorporated tangible rewards into the activity for not the child but also the parents. Encouraging family to spent quality time together during mealtime is an added plus. Thank you for sharing your therapy idea.
