Thanks for the question, Vicki. One thing that I suggest to kids who are being interrupted is to hold up there hand to indicate "stop" to the interrupter. For one thing, it is a visible interruption of the verbal behavior. The child can then tell them to stop talking for him or interrupting him. This behavior, however, needs to be practiced by the child in therapy.
