This activity sounds like it provides a great opportunity for children to express their attitudes toward their stuttering and also gives the SLP and parents insight on what their children are most affected by. When the children are asked to formulate their own Dear Abby letters, do you find that there is one question that is asked more frequently than others? Also, have you ever used this type of activity with adults who are uncomfortable about talking about their feelings and attitudes toward their stuttering?
