Thanks Heather. I think that pen-pal activities between children who stutter are very helpful. Pen-pal activities between children who stutter and children who do not stutter might also be helpful. But instead, perhaps it would be better to encourage your students who stutter to bring in frequent “speech class guests.” In this way, you can facilitate activities and discussions between children who stutter and their non-stuttering friends and peers.
