I am a graduate student, so I still have a lot to learn, especially when it comes to therapy ideas. I really liked this activity! It is so creative and such a great stuttering intervention strategy! I really like how it is addresses real life situations, written by children who stutter themselves (giving a true insight). It’s a great opportunity for children to learn how to cope/handle difficult situations which in turn should lessen frustrations and anxiety. I think that by telling the children that they are ‘experts’ in stuttering and that they can help others is a great way to put stuttering in a positive light. It allows them to feel proud instead of ashamed. Someday when I become an SLP, I hope to be able to use this activity as a tool in therapy. Thanks for such a great therapy tool!
