Interesting you should ask, Rachel; I was recently talking to 2 clients about that very issue. One finds face-to-face easier, the other is more comfortable on the phone (because he feels more anonymous). For the latter kid, phone calls are definitely a lower rung on the hierarchy of difficult situations. As with everything else involving stuttering, it’s very individualized. Dale
