I was very interested to read about your study with the young children in regards to the "negative" responses by parents to the stuttering. The use of "stop" or "bumpy word" even though the parents used it with a very positive manner, is in direct contrast to what I was taught in school." It sounds like, from your study, that it could be an effective tool for young children. Do you see an age limit that it would stop being an effective? Has this method been tried on an older student, adolescent or teen? Thank you for you time. Kelly
