Hi Mallory: I really appreciate your encouragement and ability to relate. Since completing the paper with Dr. Johnson, I have been doing a lot of reading about life in general and highly recommend anything by acclaimed speaker and psychiatrist Norman Vincent Peale. His writings are among the most inspirational I've encountered, and while having nothing to do directly with stuttering, provide insight into life that will dramatically improve any stutterer's situation. For starters, I would try to get ahold of Peale's "You Can If You Think You Can" (Prentice Hall Press, 1986) This goes along with my firm belief that stuttering is mainly mental. Good luck to you!
