Yes, I can recall several visits to local schools with school age clients wherein we together gave the classmates a presentation on stuttering. As indicated in the article, the children were encouraged to take the lead as much as they wished, which varied from child to child. In one instance the child only wanted to introduce me and participate by showing the class the fluency enhancing skills. In other instances the children talked about what causes stuttering, from their perspective and in their words and then showed what they had learned in the classroom. I hope this is helpful to you. I do have data in a corner of my office of pre- and post presentation attitudes in a particular classroom, but, after spending a few minutes looking for it, I cannot access it right now. I can only say that I have always received positive feedback from the children and their parents about the presentations. To date I have not received any negative feedback. Sincerely, Marilyn
