I found your article to be very helpful and enlightening. Although working with parents was stressed in college classess in regards to children who stutter, we were not given any tools in how to work with parents. I currently work in the school setting and have a kindergarten student who stutters. I have been teaching her to use slow, easy talking and send home activities for her to practice. Would it be appropriate to invite mom and dad (who also stutters) to a therapy session? I guess I wonder how they help her use slow, easy talking and if we are both doing it the same.
