Throughout the article, parental involvement was emphasized. When working in a school setting, parental contact can be minimal. For instances of stuttering, when the child may not be on an IEP, would you recommend setting up meetings with the parents/calling etc. to provide support and information to them? Should certain important issues be discussed in the presence of the child? or in a private meeting with the parents?
