Faculty from
various disciplines came together to lead a discussion of ideas and issues in
the book Three Cups of Tea by Greg Mortenson and David Oliver Relin.
The book relates the story of Greg’s journey as he navigates culture and
politics in Pakistan and founds the Central Asia Institute, an organization that
builds schools in central Asia.
Faculty panelists: Dick Schiming
(Economics), Chris Corley (History/Honors), Jocelyn Stitt (Gender and Women’s
Studies), Scott Granberg-Rademacker (Political Science), Leah White
(Communication Studies), and Steven Druschel (Civil Engineering).
