The Common Read Keynote Event: An Evening with Julie Otsuka

Centennial Student Union Ballroom, Minnesota State University, Mankato

Minnesota State University, Mankato welcomes author, Julie Otsuka, to campus to discuss her award winning book, When The Emperor Was Divine. This free event, hosted by the University's Common Read in partnership with Good Thunder Reading Series, is open to the campus and the greater Mankato community. Julie Otsuka will answer audience questions following her presentation.

Julie Otsuka continues her visit to Minnesota State University, Mankato. Day two is hosted by the Good Thunder Reading Series in partnership with the University's Common Read. The mission of the Good Thunder Reading Series is to promote literature, inspire creativity, and foster lively conversations about why writing matters. The day's activities include a morning Q & A and an afternoon craft talk. Julie Otsuka's visit will conclude with an evening reading followed by a book signing.
