Concurrent Enrollment students are Minnesota State Mankato students! As such, Concurrent Enrollment students are eligible to access many of the same resources that are enjoyed by our on-campus students. Take advantage of the many opportunities available including online library access, the Center for Academic Success and MavMAIL.
All Minnesota State Mankato students are issued an 8-digit TechID Number upon admission to the university. The university uses this number to identify students in the university student records system. A student's TechID Number will be printed on their MavCARD. If a student forgets their TechID Number, they can look it up online.
A TechID password is used in combination with a student's TechID Number to access services such as grades and transcripts. Student's can find their TechID Password online here. When a student accesses their TechID Password for the first time, it will be preset to one of the following:
- Your birth date in YYMMDD format or
- The last six digits of your social security number
Students who experience problems finding their TechID or TechID Password online, should call the Registration Help Center at 507-389-2252.
A Minnesota State Mankato MavCARD is a university student ID and is delivered during Concurrent Enrollment orientation at the high school. Your first MavCARD is free. A replacement MavCARD may be obtained for $15.00 from the Campus Hub located in the Centennial Student Union on campus. A student's MavCARD is valid as long as they are enrolled in a Concurrent Enrollment course at Minnesota State Mankato.
Concurrent Enrollment students will activate their Minnesota State Mankato email (MavMAIL) during Concurrent Enrollment orientation at the high school. Students should check their MavMAIL regularly, as this is our main form of communication to all university students.
Minnesota State Mankato has literally dozens of databases, special collections, and archives in its library. Concurrent Enrollment students enjoy full access to these resources. Even better, they are able to access these resources without driving to Mankato. Concurrent Enrollment students will learn to access the Minnesota State Mankato Online Library resources during orientation at their high school.
