Student Resources(StarID, TechID, MavCard, etc....)Page address: https://www.mnsu.edu/concurrent/stu_resc.html
Concurrent Enrollment students are Minnesota State Mankato students! That means Concurrent Enrollment students are eligible to access the same resources that are enjoyed by our on-campus students. Take advantage of the many opportunities available including online library access, the Center for Academic Success and MavMAIL.
The StarID is a username for use at all the Minnesota State Universities. This needs to be activated once before use. The StarID is used to access MavMAIL (e-mail), D2L Brightspace, E-Services (register for classes, access transcripts, pay bills, look up final grades), etc.
Your StarID will be listed on your acceptance e-mail from the university.

All Minnesota State Mankato students are issued an 8-digit TechID Number upon admission to the university. The university uses this number to identify students in the university student records system. A student's TechID Number will be printed on their MavCARD. If a student forgets their TechID Number, they can look it up online.
A TechID password is used in combination with a student's TechID Number to access services such as grades and transcripts. Student's can find their TechID Password online here. When you access your TechID Password for the first time, it will be preset to one of the following:
- Your birth date in YYMMDD format or
- The last six digits of your social security number
If you experience problems finding your Tech ID or password online, please call the Registration Help Center at 507-389-2252.
Your first MavCARD is free and delivered to you during your Concurrent Enrollment campus visit. If you should need a replacemen MavCARD, you may obtain one from the MavCARD office in the Centennial Student Union on campus. You will be charged $5.00 for a replacement MavCARD. This MavCARD is valid anytime during your junior or senior year that you are enrolled in a Concurrent Enrollment course.
