 The office of Asian American Affairs (AAA) at Minnesota State University, Mankato and in partnership with the Institution of Diversity works to seek the achievements of:

  • Advocating and promoting the representation of Asian American (AAA) students at MSU and in higher education.
  • Supporting cultural diversity through learning, celebrating, promoting and sharing AA cultures with MSU and surrounding communities.
  • Supporting the educational success of AA.
  • Developing and empowering future AA leaders.

In part of the mission statements, AAA would like to recognize students who have shown at least an accumulation of 1 year of participation in events hosted by the AAA office, the Asian Pacific Student Organization (APSO), the Hmong Student Association (HSA), the Hmong Men's Circle (HMC) and/or the Vietnamese American Student Association (VASA).

Students who have shown dedication and contribution to the promotion of diversity at MNSU will be recognized in a ceremony hosted by AAA and be presented with a stole of appreciation of the service hours the student has contributed to the campus and the community.
