7:30 a.m. - Gates open to the viewing area

9:30 a.m. - Gage comes down

Parking and traffic control information can be found on the Gage website.

 

Weather conditions will be the primary factor in determining the safest time for the event. If weather becomes a concern, check your email for a note from the alumni office, watch our social media or listen to any Radio Mankato station for updates. A 1,000-foot radius "safe zone" is required around the site.

Gage Button Purchasing Locations & Specials:

We will be at the following locations selling Gage buttons the week before Gage comes down. Come out to get your button and stay to enjoy the special!

Jake's Pizza

  • Monday, June 24 from 5 pm – 8 pm

  • Gage Button special is $2 off large pizza or $5 off two larges (special runs June 24 – 29)

Pub 500

  • Thursday, June 27 from 5 pm – 10 pm (Gage Trivia starts at 8 pm)
  • Friday, June 28 from 5 pm – 8 pm

  • Gage Button special is free dessert with entrée purchase (special runs June 24 – 29)

Tours of campus will be available after the demolition. If you are interested in a tour, meet in the Alumni Tent at 10:00 am. The tour will be approximately 1 hour.

 

We will be collecting photos and stories for a Gage Time Capsule, which will be archived after the event to be opened in the future. Stop by the Alumni Tent to share your stories!
