Non-Work-Related Medical Conditions

  • Managers and supervisors should ensure all employees understand the Return to Work Policy for Non-Work-Related Medical Conditions
  • Notify HR when an employee has a non-work related medical condition that restricts the employee from performing his/her job
  • Review medical restrictions with HR to determine if work tasks would aggravate or cause additional injury
  • Evaluate with HR any light duty, temporary job reassignments that may be available to the employee
