Am I a Transfer Student?
The word "transfer student" has two meanings at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
For immigration purposes, it means you have previously studied and remained in the U.S. and directly "transferred" from your previous school in the SEVIS system.
For academic purposes, you may have credits that "transfer" to MSU from either a foreign or a U.S. based school.
