What is Online Collaboration?
Online Collaboration allows multiple users to communicate with one another and to create and edit shared documents and presentations on the web from different locations.
- OneDrive - Serves as an online storage service in which you can have private folders and shared folders. You can share and collaborate with others and access your OneDrive files from any device using MS Office Online. All Faculty, Staff and Students can upload a max of 20K items to their cloud storage.
Staff Favorite Tools:
These tools are not supported. These are favorite tools of the ATS Staff and they may be able to offer assistance. Primary support is usually found on the websites for these tools.
- Google Drive- Google Drive encompasses five major collaboration tools: Google Docs (similar to an online version of MS Word), Google Spreadsheets (similar to an online version of MS Excel), Google Presenter (similar to an online version of MS PowerPoint), Google Forms (an online survey tool similar to Survey Monkey), and Google Draw (similar to the vector-based drawing features one finds in most Microsoft productivity tools). You can upload and convert existing documents in MS (or other) formats, or create new documents, spreadsheets, forms, drawings, and visual presentations and share them with other collaborators or on the web in "view only" format.
