Computer Operating System (OS) Installation

End-Point Computing MNSU - Consulting available

This service provides the installation of Windows and Macintosh operating systems for campus computer assets. This service includes new computers, existing machines, and virtual machines. In order to qualify for this service the computer needs to have an asset tag and be owned by the University.

 

This service also includes the delivery and setup of the asset in the staff member's office or work location. This includes the set-up and configuration for all supported equipment and accessories.

 

The operating systems (OS) that are supported:

  1. Windows 10 (The last 2 versions)
  2. 2. Mac OS (The last 2 versions)

 

Virtual machines that are supported.

1. VMWare (Available for purchase at the Campus Computer Store)

2. Parallels (Available for purchase at the Campus Computer Store)

Service Categories
  • Computer OS Installation

    This service will install the campus standard OS (Windows or Mac OS) on a new computer. In order to install all of the customer's software we will need to be provided with the software and license.

Customers
Faculty and Staff of the University, Grad Assistants need to have faculty approval.
