The University Marketing and Communications Team raises awareness of Minnesota State Mankato’s brand and helps define it in the public eye. All of our media exposure is knit together by the University’s tagline: "Big ideas. Real-world thinking."

The University website often represents the first interaction that outside audiences have with the University. In order to put our best foot forward, the Office of Web Marketing oversees the website strategy.

This site is designed to provide you the resources you need to improve your social media strategy, drive engagement and build your audience. Here, you can keep up with the social media efforts on campus and find resources to help your own efforts succeed.


University Marketing and Communications manages the paid advertising campaigns for the University, including building and placing TV spots, radio ads, digital and social media ads, billboards and more.

Photography and Video

Photography and video are key contributors to telling our story well at Minnesota State Mankato. They attract the eye and set the tone for the written content in marketing materials.
