Jesse Ventura will be coming Wednesday, Sept. 13. He will be discussing voter registration. All senators are invited. MSUSA conference is Sept. 15-17. American Heart Assoc. Walk
Committees-urge all senators to promote committees. Need committees rolling for recommendation for student consultation. Judicial Board-opportunity for students to see justice on campus-contact Mary Dowd0Office of Student Affairs..
Senator Rector-Completed a survey last Spring on committee preference, what happened to that?
President Boyce-We need to repeat this for all senators to know about committees they are sitting on
Vice President Tim Huebsch
Changes across campus: new sidewalks, Gage sidewalk, tennis courts, Andreas theatre etc. Andreas theatre is open. Very different shows, great new involvement for students. Taylor Center, Grand Opening-Oct 12. Technology-many upgrades, wireless coming in place. 94 students participating in College of Business lap top initiative.
Student Technology Roundtable Proposal

Senator Bicek-Move to initiate the Student Technology Roundtable. Second Senator Morriston. Initiation passes.
Senator Morriston-What about laptops downstairs?
Vice President Huebsch-Yes 20 were ordered. These can be checked out for a two hour time frame.
Senator Groenewold-What happens if something gets damaged when checked out?
Vice President Huebsch-They are working on that policy. There will be insurance.

Senator duties: Absent provide proxy, Speaker must be notified before meeting. Senators are required to spend two hours in the office. Committee descriptions.
Vice President Huebsch-Coordinator apps due Sept 15.
President Boyce-RSVP Governor visit Senate photo-next week.
Senator Short-Sunday, Frisbee Golf, Land of Memories Park.
Senator Weich-CA in Crawford-will be talking to students, every Wed at 7 or 9.
Senator Bicek-Homecoming Oct 12-14. Let's decorate the office.
Speaker Welti-Football game Saturday. Input on a community service project.
Senator Bicek-Albatross is trying to get a bw3 license. 60% of business comes from food.
President Boyce-Was at the meeting in May, this is not as bad as what was originally proposed. Have constituents write letters to the City Council WWW.CI.Mankato. MN.US
