Committee Reports

Student Affairs-Chair Mikel Ackers
Will be bringing forward resolution regarding regulating clocks on campus.
Whereas: Students of Minnesota State University must report to classes at specific times
Whereas: Currently clocks on campus have no consistent setting
Whereas: Instructors rely on clocks in academic buildings to facilitate class starts and ending times
Whereas: The University has no central control mechanism to regulate clocks
Be it resolved: The Office of Facilities and Office of Building Services be directed to monitor clocks to keep the time current
Senator Groenewold-Wouldn't there be something more appropriate then the Bell Tower? The Bell Tower might not keep accurate time.
Senator Klein-We chose this because it can also be heard off-campus.
