Music Education majors can hear exciting chamber music by performers who are also educators at the college level. The Chiarina Piano Quartet's members are on the faculties at Minnesota State, Ohio State, Carleton College, Macalester College, and Augsburg College.
Minnesota State Mankato music students in New Orleans attended a jazz conference, performed at a club in the French Quarter, took clinics from nationally recognized jazz educators, and enjoyed the fantastic New Orleans culture.

Music teachers in the K-12 classroom explore music in different historical periods. We have the opportunity to experience European history and culture through tours that are offered each year.
