Native 101: Creating Safe Learning Environments

Join Dr. Chelsea Mead, Associate Professor of Anthropology and American Indigenous Studies, and Megan Heutmaker, Director of American Indian Affairs at Minnesota State University, Mankato for this workshop that will introduce important terms and concepts, discuss best practices for educators and how to build more inclusive classroom spaces. There will also be Q & A time.

This event is geared towards educators, future educators, and anyone working with Native students. All are welcome.
