Mankato, Minn. – The Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., in Washington, D.C., recently announced that it approved the renewal of the Certified Financial Planner Board registered programs at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
Those programs include the bachelor of science degree – Financial Planning Track; Financial Planning Certificate Program; and Online Financial Planning Certificate Program.
The CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification is the most highly recognized and respected professional certifications among financial service professionals. This is due to its rigorous educational and examination requirements as well as the demanding standards and Code of Ethics that are administered by Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.

The program was established to meet the need for financial planning professionals to obtain the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the financial planning industry, as well as the educational requirement needed to sit for the CFP® Certification Examination.
