The 2015 Campus and Community Fair was a success.

The 2015 Campus and Community Fair took place on September 9, and was full of surprises at ever turn.

The 2015 Campus and Community Fair took place on Wednesday, September 9 from 10 am - 1:30 pm in the CSU Ballroom. Over 100 vendor booths brought together local businesses, area non profit organizations and campus offices to share information with Minnesota State University Mankato students.  Of course, in addition to the information, many booths offered nice gifts and prizes as well as the opportunity to apply for jobs and sign up for volunteer service. Students also enjoyed free hot dogs, chips and Pepsi products.

The Campus Kitchen at Minnesota State Mankato found the event to be particularly fruitful as Jeff Rigson, General Manager of Panera Bread of Mankato stopped by to drop off a check for $6000.

Guests attending the fair and the booth vendors had many positive things to share about the event. Those positive comments are the result of the hard work put in by many people to make it a success. Thanks must be extended to Amanda Wubben, Jane Kolar, Dave Cowen, Gail Connley, Print Shop, the staff of the Scheduling Office, CSU Building Managers, CSU Tech, Career Development Center, and the Community Engagement Office student staff, and student volunteers.

A special thanks to Mark Constantine for making arrangements with Pepsi for free beverages, and for helping to finance the lunch. Campus Kitchen also wanted to share a special thanks to Panera of Mankato for their donation.
