Planting Day 2017
Volunteers assemble for annual planting day
On May 10, dozens of volunteers gathered under cloudy skies (and somewhat rainy skies) to plant thousands of flowers at 34 sites throughout campus. Becky Gahler of Facilities Maintenance and Bruce Leivermann, Head Groundskeeper, planned the event, which was originally scheduled for May 3. Mother Nature had other plans however, and the event was postponed a week. Becky and Bruce sincerely appreciate the help of each and every person who pitched in to help out. Thanks also go out to the volunteers who helped with preparing and serving the meal, and to the grounds crew who prepped all the planting sites.
Here are a few photos.

A daunting task, but these awesome volunteers are up to the challenge.
