Important Note For Mac and Outlook 2003 Users Who Have Been Converted to the New Voicemail System
2008-06-13
Julie E. Bruggeman
In the new voicemail system, the audio format of a voicemail message has changed. If you are a Mac user who listens to your messages over your computer, you will need to contact the ITS Help Desk at 6654 to request this file format be changed. If you only listen to your message through the phone, there would be no changes needed.
For those of you who are using Outlook 2003, your voicemail message will now appear as an attachment that you will need to double click on to play. It would be highly recommended to upgrade to Outlook 2007 so you will see the media bar for playing your messages and other additional features. If you would like to have Outlook 2007 installed, please contact the ITS Help Desk at 6654.
