Gene Sellner retires

Knew data better than anyone on campus

After more than 40 years of service, Gene Sellner retires from ITS

Gene Sellner, director of applications special projects in ITS, retired on May 11, 2010, after more than 40 years of service to Minnesota State University, Mankato. The  gap left by his absence will be felt by nearly everyone on campus who uses student data.

Offices like Admissions, the College of Graduate Studies, Student Financial Services, and Greek Life, to name just a few, have benefitted from  Gene's deep knowledge of ISRS data. Each of these offices rely on Gene's expertise to provide them the information they need to make management decisions and communcate with their constituents.

Gene's retirement party took place on Friday, May 7, in the Centennial Student Union. Gary Urban took photos that are available to view online.
