Oct. 2: State Corrections Officials to Speak on Campus

Students, local corrections professionals invited to campus talk.

The Corrections Program in Minnesota State University, Mankato's Department of Sociology and Corrections and Blue Earth Community Corrections are sponsoring campus talks by two state corrections officials on Tuesday, Oct. 2 from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in Centennial Student Union 284 ABC.

Minnesota Commissioner of Corrections Tom Roy and Bill Donnay, director of Risk Management/Community Notification at the state Department of Corrections will speak.

Roy will provide an overview of the Minnesota Department of Corrections, while Donnay will speak on "Your Friendly Neighborhood Sex Offender: A Discussion fo Sex Offender Risk Management in Minnesota."

Students and corrections officials are invited.
