Clarinetist Richard Weber will perform in Halling Recital Hall.

Mankato, MN —Minnesota State Mankato’s Department of Music presents clarinetist Richard Weber performing on Tuesday, March 19 at 7:30 p.m. The recital will be performed in Halling Recital Hall of the Earley Center for Performing Arts.

Richard Weber earned his Bachelor and Doctor degrees from the University of Minnesota and a Master’s degree from Mankato State University. He taught the clarinet studio at Gustavus Adolphus College for thirty-nine years and several years at Minnesota State University, Mankato including the present time. He is a veteran of fourteen years in public school music, and has taught band at Normandale Community College and Minnesota State University, Mankato. He has performed with the Mankato Symphony Orchestra and several chamber music groups and ensembles in the Mankato and Twin Cities area. He is also a former member of the United States Marine Corps Band.

Admission to the production is $9, $7 for students with a valid MavCARD. Discount tickets are available online for University students. Advance purchase is strongly encouraged.
