Weather Update for Thursday, April 11
Despite some travel challenges, classes are being held today.

Minnesota State University, Mankato Community:
Campus is open today and classes will be held. Minnesota State Mankato Facilities Management personnel have been on campus working since 3:30 a.m. and has indicated that the majority of the lots will be ready for morning classes. Minnesota Department of Transportation reports as of 5:45 a.m. fair driving conditions in the Mankato area, with difficult driving conditions in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. They also report difficult driving conditions south of Mankato and do not advise travel south and west of St. James area.
Students: If you feel that weather and road conditions make it unsafe for you to travel to campus, please let your instructors know that you will be unable to attend classes.
Faculty: If you feel that weather and road conditions make it unsafe for you to travel to campus, please let your students know that your class will not take place. Please also consider the road and weather conditions in any decisions you make about class attendance practices.
Staff: If you feel that weather and road conditions make it unsafe for you to travel to campus, please let your supervisor know that you will be unable to make it to campus today.
