Oct. 1: Technology Fair

Mankato, Minn. -- Ed Clark, the vice president for technology and chief information officer at Minnesota State University, Mankato, announced that the 2013 Minnesota State Mankato Technology Fair would be held Tuesday, Oct. 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Centennial Student Union corridor.
This year's Fair's theme is "Technology for Promoting Student Success" and will include more than 20 presentations from innovators from around campus.
Included are presentations about tools for student groups (MavSync), innovations in classroom analytics (MavCLASS), the Library-to-go cart, plans for streamlining technical systems and processes (StarID conversion), MavTUBE and MavTUBELive!, educational gaming, eBooks and iBooks, and other presentations.
There will also be a gaming station and a prize drawing, including a grand prize of a laptop computer.
