Oct. 28-Nov. 13: Wes Taylor Photography Exhibit

Artist’s work is on display in Conkling Gallery.

Mankato, Minn. – Photographer Wes Taylor’s work is on display in an exhibit titled “Different Times in Different Places” through Wednesday, Nov. 13 at Minnesota State University, Mankato’s Conkling Gallery, located in 139 Nelson Hall on campus.

The exhibit is free and open to the public. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and some evenings as coverage permits.

Taylor’s photography has been published worldwide. His most memorable photography moment was in 1984, when he received the best in show/purchase award from Ruth Barnhard at the annual Utah State University photography exhibition. More of his work can be seen at or

Taylor, who currently teaches art at South Central College, earned a bachelor of fine arts in photography from Utah State and then worked as a commercial/industrial photographer for more than a decade in Utah. He earned a master’s degree in instructional design and technology and was an information technology director for more than 23 years.

This exhibit is in partial fulfillment of the master of arts degree requirements at Minnesota State Mankato.
