Nov. 25: MnDOT Town Hall

Minnesota Department of Transportation Commissioner Charles Zelle to speak on campus.

Mankato, Minn. -- The Minnesota Department of Transportation will be holding a "Minnesota Go" Town Hall at 4 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 25 in Centennial Student Union's Ostrander Auditorium on the Minnesota State University, Mankato campus.

The town hall meeting is open to students, faculty, staff, the university administration and the general public. Cookies will be provided.

The meeting is part of an effort by MnDOT Commissioner Charles Zelle (pictured at right) to travel across the state to have conversations about transportation's role in our health, economy and overall quality of life. Learn more on MnDOT website here.

According to his bio here on the MnDOT website, Charles A. Zelle was appointed Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Transportation on Dec. 15, 2012 by Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton. He began the job on Jan. 15, 2013.

MnDOT is the Minnesota state agency charged with managing and maintaining the state’s multi-modal transportation system.
