Campus Kitchen Winter Break Volunteers Needed

Mankato, Minn. -- As students prepare for winter break, the Office of Community Engagement is preparing to keep things simmering in Campus Kitchen. Community volunteers are needed from Monday, Dec. 16 until Friday, Jan. 10 to rescue food from area restaurants and to package and deliver meals to neighbors managing food insecurity. Three drivers for delivery are needed.

Packaging shifts run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Mondays; deliveries are on Tuesdays from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.; and food rescue and facility management is on Fridays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
